The villagers of Kanhechi near Shoghi, Shimla have taken their destiny into their own hands and begin to build their 10 kms road on the tough mountain with a help from an NGO Incredible Himachal long ago. The NGO has helped the villagers financially and morally for this road construction. In this the labor was voluntary and one who wish to contribute to this noble cause has helped in Road Work. Also the villagers put their labor as well as the financial resource to fulfill their dream. It was very tough to construct this 10 kms long road as it was the tough hilly remote area and villagers were poor and had limited resources. But they were determined to build the road to connect themselves with the rest of world. The NGO Incredible Himachal supported financially for this cause, and the villagers put the voluntary labor to accomplish their dream. AND After long hard work villagers requested the Govt to take over the road as it still need more resources to complete and maintain road. The day Arrived .. The road was inaugurated on dated 14th Aug 2015 by Youth State Congress President Sh. Vikramditya Singh. And it is a big news that now a bus by State Transport is running on the same road now. and road has beed overtaken by PWD dept. Now student can reach their schools and the patients can reach hospital safely. and now villagers have access to main shimla-Chandigarh Highway through BUS.
